Greg Williams

Composing since the age of 8, Greg has had a lifetime love affair with music, starting with lessons in both classical piano and drums at a very young age coupled with experimentation of his own melodies and counter-rhythms.

In high school he found himself immersed in urban music and began exploring the many forms of hip hop. In 2001, he started to play with loops, joined an online community called Acidplanet.com and began composing pieces spanning many genres: trance, drum & bass, ambient, IDM and various forms of breakbeat.

Through blending his love of classical and jazz with his new-found passion for urban and electronica music, Greg started to develop a unique style, and by 17, had a library of 70 works and was seriously considering music as a career.

A placement at Toronto's MCS Recording Studios introduced Greg to the precise art of audio engineering and led to the building of his own studio. Now 19, Greg has created an impressive collection of 170 original compositions in 15 different genres, and collaborated with artists and vocalists from all over the world.
